FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The things people ask at the desk, answered here so you do not have to ask them twice.
Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Booking is strongly recommended, especially for a full set, a pedicure or nail art — those need a chair set aside for you. We do keep a few slots each day for walk-ins, so message us and we will tell you what is free that day.
What happens if I am late?
Each appointment is held for the length of the service. If you arrive more than ten minutes late we may have to shorten the service or turn you away, because the next client is booked. If you know you will be late, message us and we will do what we can.
How far in advance should I book?
For a regular manicure or pedicure, a few days is usually enough. For bridal parties, prom sets and large groups, book two to three weeks ahead so we can plan the chairs.
Can I remove a set I got somewhere else?
Yes. Tell us what is on your nails — gel, acrylic or dip — and we will give you a price and a time before you come in, because the removal method changes how long it takes.
Are the tools sterilised?
Yes. Instruments are ultrasonically cleaned and sterilised after every client, pouches are opened in front of you, and files, buffers and wooden sticks are single-use.
Can I get a shape that is not on your menu?
Almost certainly. Bring a reference photo and we will work from it. Some shapes need more time than the standard service allows, and we will tell you before we start.
Are prices really the same as on the website?
Yes. The prices on this site are the prices in the salon. The Syrian pound figures are converted at the market rate on the day you look, so we always agree the final amount with you at the counter.
Do you take card payment?
Please check with us before you come — payment methods available in the salon change, and we would rather you knew than were surprised at the counter.
I am pregnant or have a medical condition. Can I still come?
Come and tell us before your appointment so we can choose products and techniques that are safe for you. We will always say honestly if we do not think a treatment is right.
Can I bring my children?
Yes, as long as another adult is with them. We will happily do a children's manicure or paint their nails free while you are having yours done.
How do I find you?
We are in Jaramana, Damascus. Message us and we will send you the exact location and the closest parking. You can also use the map on our contact page.
What are your opening hours?
Saturday to Thursday, 10:00 to 19:00. We are closed on Fridays. If you need a slot outside those hours, message us and we will see what we can do.
